IMPORTANT NOTE: Before visiting any tourist location in El Nido, visitors must pay the PHP200 El Nido Eco-Tourism Development Fee (ETDF). This one-time payment is good for ten days. In accordance with Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) Resolution No. 2017-051, which went into effect on December 1, 2018, visitors must pay an extra PHP 200 (per person) to access the Big Lagoon by paying the tour guide directly.
